About Us Inline

ECC is a multi-generational, diverse church community composed of people with varied backgrounds that desire to worship God in personal and authentic ways.

Scripture tells us that Church is a family; and just like no family is made up of only one age group, ethnic group, or gender, ECC is blessed to have a broad range of life experiences creating a rich and cohesive community.

  • The “senior” members provide the wisdom, patience and understanding of how God has worked in their lives and can bring those insights and real experiences to the family.
  • The young adults and emerging generations provide vibrancy, idealism and creativity that inject newness and life into the family.
  • Those in mid-life still have so much to give and probably more as their children are growing and leaving home providing them with more time and a renewed passion for outreach and giving back.
  • We believe that the Kingdom of God is intentionally diverse, that is an essential element of the Christian message. God’s beauty is made manifest in both diverse expressions of faith and diverse people, that is why we strive to represent as much of the Kingdom as possible through many avenues of diversity. We are not perfect, we are surely a work in progress but we are committed to reflect the Kingdom of God in our lives and in our worship.
  • We are a self-governing congregation, while we are part of a larger denomination, we elect our own local church leaders and vote on major items as a congregation.

At ECC, there is a place for everyone.

  • Has traditional or contemporary organized religion left you feeling disconnected from others?
  • Would you like to make an impact in our city rather than being a passive observer?
  • Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life?
  • If you’ve never been to church, would you like to connect with a family that strives to live like Jesus?

Check us out. We warmly invite you to visit ECC, the uniquely shaped white church with the big parking lot on the north side of Sahuaro High School.
