Dear Eastside,
Did you know that small groups are at the heart of our denomination's history? When the pietist movement began in the late 1600s, earnest Christians were hungry to gather in more intimate and dialogical ways outside of Sunday worship services. So, they formed smaller groups called conventicles to discuss the scriptures further, deepen their faith, and support one another in their Christian walk.

As we press into the vision to consecrate ourselves to spiritual formation, forming our own 'conventicles' is a key way in which we can deepen connections with each other, think and discuss biblically about different relevant topics, and encourage each other in this world to keep the faith.

Starting in September, our small groups will meet on select Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 and run through early November. Take a look below to find one right for you! Each one has its own group on our church app messaging or you can contact the facilitator directly using the contact info provided.

Love,
Pastor Kirsten
