Pastor

The Reverend Kirsten Phillips

Kirsten received her Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary in 2023.  Before serving at Eastside, she worked with the campus ministry InterVarsity USA at the University of Arizona and as a discipleship pastor.  

Originally from the Midwest,  Kirsten attended college and graduate school in Flagstaff, AZ, and has lived in Tucson since 2007.  She is married to Jonathan and has two children.  She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys being active outdoors.

For as wholehearted and serious a commitment it is to follow Jesus, Kirsten is believes it should also be joyful, playful, and done with good company (and food)!

Leadership Team

The Leadership Team of Eastside Covenant Church is comprised of members of the congregation who are delegated responsibility to lead the church in spiritual, financial, and structural ways.  The 2024 Leadership Team consists of Eileen Short, Chris Hauser, Megan Goodman, Sarah Wood, and Kirsten Phillips.   For any needs or concerns you have, please reach out to a member of the team.
